The French company AIO has brought a solution to the table, called Numii, a scale for healthier workplaces, through the use of artificial intelligence. Featuring connected beacons, this swarm intelligence needs only to be placed near workers to assess their movements and efforts and generate the world\u2019s first labour health database. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Striving to prevent lumbar pain, musculoskeletal disorders and articular damage, these are just a few of the French company\u2019s goals. AIO has brought a solution to the table, called Numii, a scale for healthier workplaces, through the use of artificial intelligence. Featuring connected beacons, this swarm intelligence needs only to be placed near workers to assess their movements and efforts. Once quantified and analysed, this data will become part of the world\u2019s first labour health database. This cutting-edge indicator aims to protect each individual worker, by preserving their health through real-time longitudinal follow-ups and risk-zone identification. Numii allows CSR-conscious companies to imagine industrial strategies centered around health at work. An undeniable asset to preserve the health of coworkers, all the while limiting expenses related to strain at work.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Strain at work costs 2.6 trillion euros per year<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The data that Numii will generate will be precious in imagining the industrial tools of tomorrow. Thanks to this scale, postures and movements that are particularly harmful to the human body will be identified and adjusted. Health at work is a major challenge for our society, valued at 2.6 trillion euros per year worldwide by the International Labour Organisation, or 3.9 GDP points. One can thus understand why Numii received an Innovation Award in the category, \u201cTech for a better world\u201d at the CES Las Vegas 2019. AIO has been working towards easier work for the last decade, through green, passive robots for assembly lines, in automotive, aeronautical and electronic factories. The company helps these major groups to improve their working conditions, all the while promoting decent work in the industry. The company, with its new tool Numii, is completely part of a large-scale prevention of work injuries and occupational illnesses.
